Adoption Policy SOCS has many wonderful cats awaiting special homes. An adoption contract is required, and a thorough prospective owner interview is conducted. There is an adoption fee of $70. Cats are adopted to 100% indoor homes only. We will welcome back any cat adopted from SOCS at any time, no questions asked. To meet one of the cats shown in these photos, please contact us to arrange a private showing, or meet us at an Adopt-A-Day. |

Stitch- This sweet, social, neutered male got his name because he's "just a stitch" to be around. He is about 2 years old and appears to be a Maine Coon mix. His dress is a handsome blue-grey and white. Stitch was adopted by his foster mom and is living the good life with his buddy, Jake. |
Jay- Also known as Jaybird, this kitten has come a long way from her original birdie-boned frame. She is a healthy, active kitten who loves to cuddle and play. Spayed, wormed, shots. |
Gracie- She is a sweet little girl who is very lovable. She has pretty tortoise shell markings and has been spayed. |
Kalepaana- Her lineage is probably Oriental- she has a long, slim body and lots of energy. She has a BIG attitude and would do best in a single cat home. She's fiesty but can be a sweet lap kitty. Spayed. |
Linus- He has spent most of his 3 years on the streets, but is now very thankful to be an indoor man of leisure! He was born to be a lap cat and shower you with kitty hugs and kisses. Neutered and tested. |
Brynn- She's a spunky kitty with a "kinky" tail and sleek blue-grey fur. She is very loving and cute. Brynn has a sweet personality and appreciates her second chance at life! Spayed. |
Frosty- This special kitty has developed FIV, but is extremely healthy otherwise. He has a luxurious grey tabby coat with white trim. He is very affectionate and loves to be the center of attention. Must stay indoors due to FIV. |
Missy- This beautiful girl is anxious for a new home. She was spayed and declawed by her previous owner. She enjoys individual attention and would love to be in a one cat home. |
Jake- At 1-1/2 years old, this neutered male adores all he meets. He has a beautiful cream and white coat. He is very active and fun and needs a home with a buddy and lots of attention! Jake was adopted along with Stitch. They make a great pair and are having a great time in their special home. |

Dogs for Adoption |
Occasionally, SOCS will have and list dogs for adoption. These special canines have usually been rescued from situations of neglect or abuse, so they need special homes! There are no dogs available for adoption at this time. |
Brandy- She was a neighborhood dog rescued from a home that could not afford to properly care for her. She has a flea allergy and is currently recovering from advanced dermatitis with hair loss. Brandy loves people and other animals, and is just a little sweetheart! She is a sheltie mix who loves to be by your side. She is house trained, obedient, and even knows a few tricks! Approximately 3 years old, she is not yet spayed, but will be as soon as her skin condition improves. "Brandy-Ana" resides in a wonderful home with five sheltie "sisters". She is recovering and doing just great! |

Shadow- This loving lap kitty is sweet and cuddly. She does not like to be picked up but will happily jump on your lap when you are sitting down. She is about 6-1/2 years old and weighs 13 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She has a flea allergy but has been healthy and flealess for 5 years. |

Precious- This 6-1/2 year old female is very loving and craves individual attention. She would do best to be adopted with Shadow or as the only cat in the home. She weighs almost 15 lbs. and is spayed and up to date on her shots. |

Nelson Reilly- This beautiful boy has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. He had been adopted from SOCS previously, but was returned due to his new condition. He needs a home with frequent observation and special attention to his needs. His sweet face and nature will win your heart! |
*Special Note: These two kitties would like to be adopted together. They come from the same home and get along well. |
Silver- This 7-month-old sweetie is very affectionate and is a purring machine! He gets along well with others and loves to play and be held. He has beautiful blue-grey fur with a ringed tail. |
